Synopsis
after two geologists warn him about a bomb test.
tries to stop the test because it would have a disastrous effect on the
San Andreas fault.
meantime, refuses to cancel the test.
Deathbirds are activated by the ensuing earthquake and he calls
President Carpenter again to get the Air Force moving. Again Carpenter
turns Von Doom down and tells him that he will handle the Air-Force
problem personally. Von Doom has a deactivator for the Deathbirds and
uses it as he sees the aircraft following Warlock to the desert. Using
the deactivator Von Doom detonates the Deathbirds.

Notes
- Jerry and Ray are geologists who find Warlock’s cocoon.
- Deathbirds are outlawed machines of destruction, they are unmanned aircrafts, that were deemed too vicious for civilized warfare
and thus banned. - With the exception of Jerry and Ray all characters listed
under “other characters” appear in a flashback at Eddie Roberts’ funeral
only.

Synopsis
Astrella offers Warlock to help and says, that some are against
Carpenter’s orders, she wants to take him to a meeting with Col. Barney
Roberts but lures him in a trap where he has to fight the Brute.
Her orders were to get away as soon as the Brute attacks Warlock but she
stays and hopes, that Warlock wins
With the Soul Gem.
Warlock causes the Brute to revert to his human form
recognizing Reed Richards, before he can question him Warlock is
attacked by the military.
Arriving at the cabin described by Astrella
Warlock meets Von Doom, all of a sudden Jason Grey stumbles into the
cabin warning Adam and Von Doom that they are all in trouble.

- Counter-Earth’s Version of the Fantastic Four startet into Space as well, in Flashback we see their Journey.
- Also in Flashback we see the accident that destroyed Dooms
Face and how Reed supported him afterwards creating a deep friendship. - A shadowed Figure (Rex Carpenter) explains Richards after he
turned into the Brute, that it was him, who made sure, that he was the
only one mutating because of the Cosmic Rays, and that he is responsible
for the kind of mutation as well. - Carpenter, who is President by now, issues an Order, to catch Warlock declaring him a threat to society.

Synopsis
Sometime in the future, a planet is surrounded by a strange mist that
warns travelers of a quarantine. In the year 2006, Colonel John Rogers
arrives back on Earth to an adoring crowd, carrying a sample of
vegetation from Nythanos. The plant telepathically tells the crown that
it is really Colonel Rogers, and the plant’s life-essence has taken
possession of his body. He now has the plant’s powers, but they only
work in Nythanos’ atmosphere. To test the claim, the atmosphere of
Nythanos is duplicated, and John Rogers is able to retake control of his
body. The plant explains that it had John Rogers’ memories, and didn’t
realize it wasn’t really him. It warns that there are many other plants
on Nythanos who will use such an ability instinctively. The planet is
quarantined, and the plant returned home.
