Synopsis
While struggling with the Prowler, Peter Parker has to curb any feats of strength when J. Jonah Jameson bursts in the room. Peter allows the Prowler to toss him out of a window, and uses his spider-powers to avoid falling to his death. The Prowler, only wanting to steal the Bugle payroll is mortified that he’ll be labeled a murderer tries to escape and comes face to face with Spider-Man. After a battle in which Spider-Man has the advantage, the Prowler manages to get away when he blasts Spider-Man in the face with gas.
Spidey then changes back to Peter Parker and returns to the inside of the Bugle building, telling Johan and Joe Robertson that he was saved by Spider-Man. Jameson is only interested in possible pictures Peter could have taken of Spider-Man fighting the Prowler, but Robertson, seeing that Peter is exhausted, sends the young man home. As Peter sleeps, his mind reels over his life, while the Prowler returns home and changes back into his civilian identity. Hobbie vows to make it rich as the Prowler so he can live a life of luxury with his girlfriend Mindy, and vows that is Spider-Man gets in his way, he will defeat him.
The next day, while Peter is on the campus of ESU he’s confronted by Gwen, who’s upset with him ignoring her, he confronts her with the fact that he saw her out with Flash Thompson the night before and leaves before she has a chance to explain.
Later that night as a brooding Peter Parker watches the news, he sees a report about the Prowler striking again and decides to deal with this new menace once and for all. This time preparing himself with a gas filter against the Prowler’s gas launcher, Spidey also makes a brief stop at a pharmacy to get film for his camera. He then spots the Prowler robbin the Smith Bros. jewelery shop. Setting up his camera, Spider-Man battles the Prowler. This time the Prowler’s gas doesn’t effect the web-slinger and he easily defeats the Prowler.
When he unmasks him and realizes that he’s a young man the same age as him, Spidey has no heart to turn the disenfranchised Hobbie over to the authorities. Spider-Man decides that since Hobbie never stole anything or hurt anyone to let him go if he goes on a the straight and narrow and takes good care of his girlfriend. Happy that he’s not going to jail, Hobbie promises just that, and Spider-Man departs.

Synopsis
Having been returned to his own time, the Hulk is quickly spotted once again by the military, which renews its mission to capture the Hulk. In order to aid in their efforts, Glenn Talbot enlists the aid of Banner’s replacement Konrad Zaxon.
As Talbot works to try and contain the Hulk so that Zaxon can find a means of destroying the brute, Rick Jones reveals the secret of the Hulk’s identity to Betty Ross. Meanwhile, Zaxon has less than honorable intentions for capturing the Hulk. He has devised a scheme to use the Hulk’s body to power his weapons in a bid to take over the entire world.
With the Hulk trapped in a trench that has an anti-matter force field keeping him prisoner, Zaxon dons a suit of armor and a weapon which will siphon the “organic energy” from the Hulk’s body. Zaxon shuts off the anti-matter barrier keeping the Hulk at bay. As the Hulk climbs out of his prison, he is instantly blasted by Zaxon’s weapon.

Notes
- Last issue for some time of this title.
- During the “Silver Age” Marvel Comics had a distribution deal with National Comics (now DC Comics) which limited the number of titles they could publish a month. To get around this during the super-hero boom of the 60’s, their anthology titles (Strange Tales being one of them) became home to two super hero stories. When the National Comics deal expired and Marvel was free to publish as many titles as they liked, Strange Tales would be renamed to Doctor Strange, and Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. would get his own series, starting with issue #1. The first volume of Dr. Strange would run until issue #183. Although Strange Tales was renamed to Dr. Strange and continued with the same issue numbering, in 1973, Marvel would revive the Strange Tales title starting with issue #169, until the cancellation of the first volume with issue #188.
- Yandroth preiously appeared last issue and will appear next in Mavel Feature 1 (in Italy in ASE # 1).
