altro lungo episodio speciale extended , tratto da un ennesimo Annual, stavolta della testata di scorta Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man, dove troviamo come avversario l’ affilato ma modestissimo SPADACCINO (o meglio uno dei tanti miserandi carneadi tradotti in italiano con questo ridicolo nomignolo, stavolta si tratta dell’ effimero Dominic Tyrone, uno che prima di scegliere di vivere sul filo della lama aveva persino tentato di fare il ct della nazionale di calcio francese, ovviamente senza successo) a sfidare l’ arrampicamuri tentando di infiocchettarlo ed infilzarlo di fioretto prima e di sciabola poi, come del resto farebbero la Vezzali e Montano se si trovassero a gigioneggiare tutti e due insieme con lo spadone di berlusconi dentro al lettone di Putin
contiene inoltre : I FANTASTICI QUATTRO (in questo episodio troviamo anche la cantante dagli occhioni languidi e con l’ x-factor DAZZLER appena all’ inizio della sua carriera di mutante fatale )

Synopsis
While about to break up a Maggia theft operation, Spider-Man is
beaten to the punch by a masked man named the Rapier. Spider-Man joins
in and helps the Rapier, who has been making press for his heroic deeds
against organized crime. Although, thankful for Spider-Man’s help, the
Rapier blows off Spidey, leaving the wall-crawler to wonder about the
Rapier as he returns to his home and calls his Aunt May.
The next day, Peter returns to the stock yards with Ned Leeds to
report on the situation. This brings the attention of the Maggia, who
later appear at the Daily Bugle with their leader Silvermane to pressure
the Bugle to give up any and all pictures and stories relating to the
attempted robbery from the night before. When they leave Jameson’s
office, they take Peter’s camera, Peter tags them with a spider-tracer
to follow them later.
Following them back to Silvermane’s headquarters as Spider-Man,
Peter easily makes short work of Silvermane’s thugs, and warns
Silvermane about threatening anyone at the Bugle again before retrieving
his camera and leaving. As the Rapier prepares to confront Silvermane,
Peter Parker returns to the Bugle and learns that Joe Robertson had been
attacked by thugs. Blaming Silvermane, he goes after him as Spider-Man.
Meanwhile, Silvermane is confronted by the Rapier, who reveals
that he is Dominic Tyrone, a former employee of Silvermanes empire who
was attempted to be eliminated following the end of his usefulness.

Synopsis
As Reed immerses himself in the task of repairing the Baxter
Building’s systems from last issue, Sue berates her husband for sending
Franklin to Whisper Hill to be looked after by Agatha Harkness, and for
ignoring her protestations before walking out on her husband. Reed
however is oblivious to his wife’s complaint and sends HERBIE to the
central computer core to run a systems check. Inside the core HERBIE
interacts with the main computer and, with access to all the secrets of
the Fantastic Four’s systems laughs ominously to himself. Johnny
meanwhile is enjoying a night out at a New York discotheque, and meets
Alison Blair, the Dazzler. Having defended Alison from the unwanted
attentions of a customer, Johnny settles back to watch Alison at work.
As she goes through her act Johnny is mesmerised by her mutation-powered
performance. In Sue’s private quarters she comes under attack from
HERBIE who threatens to kill her. Turning invisible and trying to escape
doesn’t help: HERBIE uses his infrared sensors to track Sue’s movements
and then knocks her out with an energy blast. He then binds the
unconscious blonde girl helplessly to the wall.
